Knowledge is the foundation of a powerful person. With knowledge, one can do things, manipulate them, even destroy them. And as everyone knows, great power comes with great responsibility. As we gain knowledge, we are responsible of using is effectively and consider the good of others.

Credit 

Giving credits is an act of respect. As we use other people’s work, it is only right and just to give them the acknowledgement they deserve. It is the product of their hard work and as a humane citizen, one should respect them. Giving credits is also important in a way to not commit a plagiarism crime.

Information Literate Individual 

An information literate individual should be able to possess knowledge and express it responsibly and most effectively. Information is a crucial concept that should be handled with care and an information literate should have the full ability to recognize, evaluate, use and communicate information in an ethical methods or forms. Meaning, it is also the role of an information literate to not commit the crime of plagiarism by learning the proper guidelines in getting and using information. An important skill in information literacy is being able to recognize an information and apply the legal and appropriate way to store and share it.
